This is a brief overview of my short film from start to finish. I haven't went into too much detail as this is still a work in progress but my blog will be updated with more up to date, detailed ideas from each scene soon.

Music Update: Connor Dryden
As far as Connor's own music goes, I am currently in the production stages so there is not yet a finished piece. However, I am going over ideas and styles for different original songs to decide what will fit the film the best and for which part it should be at, if at all. This will be a good touch to the film because it helps the audience connect with the main character on a more personal level after hearing him sing about how he feels.
Possible Music: Billy Lockett- Burn it Down
I think this will be a very effective song to use towards the end of the end of the film because it fits the style of the film perfectly and the lyrics also reflect upon this. I want it to be playing over the top of the footage as Connor is heading towards the beach after he has lost his mind, he's starting to give up on life and the emotion in the song captures this.
Location- Bedroom
Another location I want to use is the main character's bedroom, I have chosen this as a main location in the film because these scenes will show the mental deterioration of the character as he slowly loses his mind over his girlfriend being missing. The fact that he is confined to his room and left to his on devices will portray how he is trapped inside of his own mind, constantly living in worry and fear with no way out.
